The story and the origin of coffee

According to a tradition, the coffee plant was discovered around 600 AD at Ethiopia. There, a herder noticed that his sheep were very bright when they ate the fruits of an unknown plant. The shepherd decided to taste the strange fruit and discover the beneficial properties. Proud to his discover thought to share his secret he decided to offer  some grain in the nearby monastery. The monks did a brilliant  aromatic decotion  from  the wrists and performed holy qualities to the drink as "facilitated" the all-night prayers.
The Arabs were the first to endorsed  it as a drink, often adding cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and anise to the mix.
The Middle Ages, the coffee plant cultivated in Arabia near the Red Sea and the Arabs are trying to maintain a monopoly of cultivation.
In 1470 the coffee arrives in Makkah and begin to create the first coffeehouses, despite all the prohibitions of official authority which believes that drinking coffee in cafes alienate citizens from their religious duties.
In 1554 traders bring coffee from Damascus to Istanbul in 1555 and opened its first cafe Istanbul.The citizens of Istanbul love τηε exotic drink and cafes are spread in almost all districts.
The European travelers in the East fascinated by the exotic drink and describe the properties of charmed. However, the civilized West facing with suspicion the new drink until Pope Clement VIII, in 1600, delighted by the aroma and taste, baptize it "Christian".
In 1723 a French officer steals saplings coffee from the botanical garden in Paris and transfer them illegally to Martinique. In 1727, a Portuguese officer from Brazil won the wife of the governor of Guinea. She expresses her love of giving some coffee shoots who planted in Brazil were the top for more great coffee plantation in the world!
