KOKKOS - POGATOS S.A. was founded by Mr. Nikolaos Kokkos in 1948.

Today, the company is based near in Athens, in a private owned building of 3.000 sq.m. at 2, Parnassou str., Ag. I. Rentis.

The company founder relied on his expertise and personal ability, patience and persistence all necessary qualifications at those hard times for someone to be consolidated and developed. From the very beginning, his two young sons - Antonios Kokkos and Panagiotis Kokkos - and his nephew Dimitrios Pogatos came to assist him. Their coordinated efforts were persistent and they managed to create a stable basis in the production and commercial company sections.
The first big success was the production of the milk toffee in the golden wrapping with the red "proud" cow, which gave fame to the company and is still one of its best sellers.

On any circumstance, the combination of the theoretical skills, experience and knowledge, the continuous research and development, along with the long tradition in fine confectionery production, ensures the best results for high quality and reliability of KOKOS products and contribute to their establishment in the Greek and international markets.

Today, the third generation of the family is managing the company, where President and CEO is Mr. Nikolaos P. Kokkos, graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, and Vice - President is Mr. Nikolaos A. Kokkos, graduated in Food Technology from the University of Reading, UK
